Because it means i can buy K12beano's old Nikon D2x for the lovely price of £425
Combine with the 35mm F1.8 Nikon i managed to pick up for £110, i think its been a good weekend!

Well I love PH Classifieds too - part of the experience was that the last barrier for paying for the replacement is hurdled cleanly - and, _dobbo_, it was there a couple of weeks 
(PS I bought secondhand, so capital depreciation over five years has been very reasonable at less than £300 per annum - "worth buying quality" is my motto!)
Then again I can twiddle my thumbs for Easter and maybe weeks and months while you all take the
- and I fiddle impatiently with my P7000....
And then again, we have a new Nikon convert (from the photocopier maker!) around these parts - and great to meet you too, Daniel. Hope to see plenty of results, and so great to know that "The Brick" has gone to a good home!
PS your bargain of a 35mm got me jealous!
PPS - that Brick should really have been sold at a considerable premium since our hallowed Simpo Two has actually TOUCHED it once!
