hi all

first post in this section so here goes
Got knocked off my bike last week, a lot of cuts and bruises etc but the thing is that my bike is wrecked, it's/was an olmo, don't ask me what model as i've no idea, i bought it used, however i can't find any dealers anywhere.
i don't know whether i'll be replacing it with another olmo but if i can talk to a dealer he might be able to give me an idea of the value, for insurance purposes.
any idea's ? many thanks in advance
Hal

No clue, you'll really struggle if you don't know the model. I googled the name (it was new to me) and the first thing I saw was

"Someone I know once called Olmo the Schwinn of Italy. That is because Olmo produces a full line of bikes - some of which are quite extraordinary"

Here's a sort-of pricing guide anyway, but you'll need to know the model.

Hi Hal

Sorry to hear about your accident.

Could you tell us what model the Olma is, the frame tubing and make of components (crank, gears & brakes) the bike has?

If so I could give you a reasonable estimate of value.

Hi Roman

Here's all the info i can give you, i hope it gives' you a clue, it's an old one to start with, frame says, OLMO Racing, there's a badge with columbus written on the down tube( seat to pedals )
wheels are Mavic MA2
16 speed, campagnolo avanti gears inc derailier
campag brakes,
the badge on the front stem has OLMO on it with 5 rings olympic style.
I don't know if that's any help but that's about it i'm afraid.

Hal

BTW my Haldane won't be seeing much action until next March, main reason why i got the bike out of the shed.
