Good Morning All.

I have been bad in the last week and bought two new bikes pushing my total to well over 20 now frown . One is brand new so it will be packaged and the other I have to collect while i am back over Easter. To save me trying to manhandle 2 large boxes to Gatwick on Monday (im not sure 2 boxes will fit in our hire car anyway) and then get them back from the airport this end i think it will be far easier just to post them.

I will get a bike box from Halfords on friday for the 2nd bike so if i tape the pair of them together ill have a package roughly 1,5m x 60cm x 1m and weighing 35kg.

Does anyone know who i can use to send these to Germany? Price to beat is 60€ for sleasyjets handeling fee and a whole load of faffing about smile

Danke.

try websites like collectmyparcel who will search for couriers for you (proper companies like TNT etc), its like a price comaprison website basically, you put in the dimensions, weight etc and they display the results.

i would check the new is properly packaged, i have never been overly impressed with the quality of packaging, good enough for internal UK but i would put more packaging around it if it was going overseas.

Thanks Pablo.

I have tried 5 of these comparision sites now and the cheapest i can get it is 39gbp per bike.

so the question for me now is, is it worth the extra 30gbp over easyjet to not have the hassle each end of the flight..

cheers.
