Glasgow detailer help needed!!
Discussion
With great regret, not to mention a tear in the eye, the much loved 430 is now going on sale after 5.5 years of brilliant man/car relationship. As part of its prep I'm going to have it detailed. So I'd be gratefully obliged for any recommendations for a good detailer within a reasonable range of Bothwell.
Thanks in advance

I just had my car done by Richard at RGK Detailing, very impressed with his work and cost.

Yip from what I gather Richard is working with west end. The number above is the same as on his site. Both Richard and Gavin are great guys. http://rgkdetailing.com/
Robert (Incredible Detail) finished the detail/paint correction job today. I can certainly join those who heartily recommend him. First class result carried out very professionally and for a decent price too. Many thanks to him and to those who suggested him. Almost makes me feel like keeping what now looks like a new car!

Thanks for the kind words.
The car was a brilliant colour but it was quite difficult to capture the general swirl marks etc.
Here's an attempt anyways.
Roof before in direct sun (no fancy lights)

Roof After

Bonnet before

After
The car was in great condition already. Obviously it had the typical swirl marks (which don't really show up well in the before photographs tbh as the sun was half behind a cloud) and few light sratches here and there but nothing major and nothing that wasn't corrected.

Robert: Car's new owner picked her up on Monday and was particularly happy with your paint correction work. Incidentally, here's an extract from his email later on that day.....think that might well have been the Gumbaw Gang he encountered....
"...Loads of good reaction on the M6 and M40, people giving it the thumbs up – even from a convoy of 4 Porsches which looked like they were on some sort of cannonball run or maybe a run down to the Nurburgring or something. I had a bit of a play but then left them to it as their speeds were more ambitious than mine, especially with an XC90 in tow...."

Try the restaurant Luc Salsedo beside the back entrance of Hotel Grimaldi. If you can find a better eaterie in Nice, let me know!!
Ps: You lucky lucky guys! Sitting here in Possil at 10 to 6 on a Friday pm still at work and sweating like a rapist in an id parade in the 30 degree heat with only dinner at the ma-in-laws to look forward to.......
