I didnt do half of what I wanted over the winter but the suns out and with the start of April it's time to de-sorn.
Managed to change the water pipes to stst so they should hold water, pull out those useless ventilation pipes, changed number plates to un-damaged ones with integral Gb stickers,.... And just fitted my new piston heads sticker.....ready!

My trailing arms and rear springs are in the back of my Focus and the dampers and rear brakes are in my utility room...
The answer is no, very very no!
On the plus side I got a quote for getting my trailing arms and springs blasted, galvanised and powder coated today for £40 which isn't bad. Hopefully I can get the car together in time, it's tight but doable.

Changed track rod ends (one seized so tracking could not be adjusted) and this led to new rack mountings which led to new top and bottom ball joints and lots of paint on the wishbones and I changed the anti roll bar bushes which meant I wanted to change the arb links to rose joints but then I had to replace the engine mountings because the sump was sitting on the roll bar so whilst the distributor was out to give more clearance I renewed the distributor O ring to fix the oil leak and then I had to get new discs and pads but one of the caliper bleed nipples was seized so a spare caliper from Phillpot (thanks!)but the brake hoses weren't too great so I bought a set of of braided ones from Stevsons and everything has new bolts and nuts its not finished yet but I've got to pause for breath now! Hunter four wheel alignment on Thursday and then some routine maintenance such as oil and filter change. Oh, I will also fit my new seat belts. But I am sure that there will be a few other tasks before May.

The throttle cable snapped last week, so that needs to be replaced or something needs to be made to fit (see other thread). The engine mounts need to be replaced as I have the same problem as Turbotony, sump sitting on anti roll bar and I need to sort out the worlds most annoying squeak.
The first two jobs should be done in a weekend the third one will probably take the rest of my life!
I'll be the one with no skin on my knuckles.

Hope so, will know for sure in the next couple of weeks.Passed the mot last wednesday and now off sorn and back on the road tomorrow,sunday, so time to "do" a few miles and see how shes running after this winters "few little jobs"........dropped the diff, new rear cover, poly bushes, and oil change. cleaned and reset the speedo sensor, Prop shaft inspected, snapped grease nipples replaced, drive shafts checked and regreased. Radiator removed and refurbed. New power steering hoses and fluid.New gearbox oil.New oil pressure switch. New engine oil and filter [trying mobil 10w 60 fully syn for a change] Plenum and inlet manifold off again.....and new valley gasket,2 new temp senders 
[DONT ASK] and plenty off other things i cant remember.

Just remembered some more....both lower rear wishbones removed to grind off snapped ARB plates, reweld on new strengthned plates, make and fit new rear ARB droplinks and refit the lot.

Relay mod to electric windows
New targa props
Painted various chips
New steering column cowling
To do:
Headlight relay mod
N/s outrigger
Replace coolant
But it's the first of the month, about to fill her up and head out for a shake down.
