I'm sorry... and you can call me a grumpy old man, but WTF is a "virtual one owner" evil

"Spooky Spoor" my old Latin Master would have dragged me to the front of the class with the blackboard rubber smacking the back of my head and faster than a ferret up a trouser leg for such travesty and abuse of the English language.

I think it says one owner is for sale. Might be wrong...

it means " bought directly from Jaguar when the car was only 7 months old."

It is indeed a misuse of language. Overpriced as well. Fails on all counts then.

Shame they couldn't get one of my personal favourites: 'virtually unique' in there too.

"unopened tool kit in simply outstanding condition".

Sounds like Schroedinger's tool kit.

The whole ad seems "very average" to me.

I guess there are times it's sort of true. One of my bikes had two previous owners, the first one did 120miles then sold it (that's less than one take of fuel). The next took it upto 7,400miles.

And "unique registration number" often comes into play. But I feel this descending into another "in my day" thread.

I assume you don't watch 'The Big Bang Theory" or you would have understood the reference to Schroedinger's cat.

It COULD mean that when Jaguar owned it they loaned it to any Tom, Dick and Harry so it may have had hundreds of "virtual" owners and two real ones.
