Had my car booked in last Saturday as my POD had returned from Blackpool, all repaired under warrantee. They had kindly put a spare pod in my car so I could still use it whilst mine was away (for over 2 weeks!).

Anyhow, two days before I was due to take it in driving along and the back of the drivers seat just sort of gave way as I pressed the clutch. No visible damage, but something was obviously wrong as every time I tried to declutch, my bum just disappeared in the back of the seat - good job the gears are long!

Anyhow, took the car in, left it with them and went shopping. Come back an hour later, new pod fitted, seat repaired, no charge! Don't know whether they had put the seat through the warrantee, but I had signed nothing so was quite surprised - jobs a good'un.

Both mechanics I've met there now seem to know their stuff and seem to go out of their way to give you a lengthy explanation of what they have done. I like that. Surprised that one of them has his own Tuscan S, it's made me think of a career change ;-)

Anyhow, just for the record I have no affiliation with them, just happy to shout that they seem to do a good job. Similarly though, I will shout if they ever do a bad job :-0

Phil.

I'll let sportie do the honours, not sure what is public knowledge, and dont want to get anyone in trouble.... Myself especially!

Please tell more! I've just bought a Tuscan from them this week. What will happen to warranty etc?

Your warrantee will be third party so I shouldn't worry about that. My worry is that my next closest dealer is TVR Power in Coventry. Too many speed cameras on the Cov road from Brum for my liking.
