Just Fried up some cods roe! boiled it first then sliced it, coated in flour and fried it for a few minutes. Its very tasty, however I have some more in the freezer and wondered if there are any other nice ways to cook it?

I only have experience of the canned roe, and similar to you, all I've done is make fritters out of the stuff.

Interested to hear peoples' suggestions too.

It's a bit of a stretch to call it a recipe, but smothered over some hot buttery toast.......

I remove the outer skin and then fry with garlic and chilli. It all breaks up in to individual 'grains' and then can be mixed through pasta. Really nice and balances it out a bit - I find it too much otherwise.
