Key blank cut - Nissan Xtrail or 350Z Basingstoke / Reading

I am trying to get a Nissan Xtrail/350Z key cut and programmed in the Basingstoke area and this simple task is turning into an unforeseen mission. I have the Nissan key blank and the electronic immobiliser and transmitter component, but it seems that locksmiths will not cut a blank they did not supply, which is a real pain.
To get this part from Nissan is pretty pricey, ideally would like to get the key cut separately and only programmed at Nissan, to prevent the dealer from performing a barbed wire rectal exam on my wallet charging for the key.
Does any one know where I can get the key blank cut in the area ?
