Has anyone done or seen any reliable 0-60 times for this car. The various tech sources quote between 5.5s to 6.0s, but my car certainly feels faster than that, especially now that I exclusively use Shell 'Optimax'.

I realise that 0 to 60 is a bit irrelevant, as the car has such great mid-range and cornering abilities, but the boy-racer in me is curious nonetheless.

All comments appreciated (as long as they're not along the lines of 'bugger off and join a 'Max-Power' forum!)

It's 5.9s officially due to the extra weight - nearly 1/4 tonne heavier than the lighter C2 manual, which is tested around 4.5 - 5s in Evo

I have seen various figures quoted, the truth of the matter is that the C2 and C4 are very well matched in speed I tried my old C4 next to my friends C2 no real difference between the cars, the Triptronic will slow you down by about 0.5 Secs to 60, but it could be said that you can keep 2 hands on the wheel and not need to change/miss a gear?

Cheers

5.1 for the C2 manual and 5.5 for the tip. C4 is 0.2 of a second more than the C2.

Pretty quick eh?

Obviously it depends whether your talking about the previous 3.4 or the new 3.6 models too

Thanks for the responses so far -

I've got the previous 3.4 litre model. What are the differences?

Newer 3.6 has more bhp and torque. According to Evo it feels much quicker, "more like 4,5 to 60".
