Just posted a cracking aviation (This is Boats Planes and Trains section) related Youtube video which, unlike the Apache thread (also a Youtube clip), has been closed ?????

Won't bother anymore...

This really pisses me off. The You Tube thread is full of all sorts that I'm not interested in. I much prefer to have a separate thread for these sort of interesting clips. But seem the gestapo of PH won' t let you do it.

Cracking clip btw.

Thanks for posting an eye opener,. On topic, in the correct section, perhaps a slightly lees emotive title would have kept it but I doubt it.

I'd be inclined to agree with you.. Apart from the doubt..

Some narrative around the video wouldn't have gone amiss either.

Clearly if you understood flying, the narrative posted as the original title is, speaking as a pilot, spot on wink

So when are we having a separate picture section? That way, we can all post images so as all can see but nobody really wants to...
You couldn't make it up LOL

Looked like a solid piece of flying to me - entertaining for sure and quite different from the likes of lhr but it didnt look to me like the pilot or aircraft struggled?

I asked for it to be moved back and opened up again , just think sometimes the mods try to keep things tidy and this one was a mistake.

I really do think that aviation/ship/train related videos (youtube or otherwise) are best suited to here - away from cute cats and skateboarding jerbils.

If we're having a vote smile

I'm with Eric

I know there IS a Youtube section but I just can't think of any reason I'd normally bother going there

I'm for welcoming Boats, Planes & Trains vids in here along with the chat

They are/should be in here. The one mentioned on this thread was done so in error and has been re-opened.

The original title of the thread frankly didn't help which was something like "Holy fking hell!!!!!" or something similar. It's been properly renamed and is here - http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...
