380mm front discs options on a 997.1 GT3 with steels?

Could this be done?

PCCB is easy as its a 380mm disc anyway, so a straight swap but the steel braked 997 GT3 is 350mm std. JZM do a 362mm Alcon option which uses a 6mm spacer to bring the caliper out a little, it feasible to use a 15mm spacer to bring the caliper out and fit a 380mm disc?

is the .1 PCCB caliper actually different from the steel (apart from the colour!) ie does it have more meat on it so it sits out further?

I have seen it done but I think they swapped the caliper for a cup version...
