No relation to the seller, though I know the car well wink

If I had the money lying around that would be in my garage by this weekend.

Lovely that is!

No good for me though Craig. Having one car I hardly use is bad enough but 2 would be criminal. Main reason I was after a 964 was that I could use it daily from March til October for commuting and everything, yet not be too much of a fanny.

I'd get way to OCD with that. I really would love to buy it though. Stunning!

Ah yes, so it is. So a bit of a bitsa but, a minty mint bitsa. Got to be an affordable way into 911/912 fun for someone without any rust worries. That would count for a lot if I were looking.

The VP 912 is not a car for the purists but as Mark says, a great, and relatively worry free, way into Porsche ownership for people who aren't anal about correct spec. In fact, from a driver's perspective, it should be a better all round car than a period correct 912 !

it drove pretty well on it's old 912 set up so i can only assume if it's been set up right it'll be even better now, great little car & the body (last easter anyways) was pretty much like a brand new car cloud9

It's my old car, and i am siting here REALLY fighting the urge not to buy it back....

Boxster and 3.2 brakes, corner balancing and the gearbox rebuild will have made that one of the best 76 cars around. It's got zero rust, damage etc - could be in a museum - but should be driven. Southbound interior, new dash (don't ask) and superb 16' Fuchs. Purists - its far from a matching numbers car, but its a superb Porsche and definitely better than when it left the factory.

Priced (VERY) fairly.

Still itching to have her back....

must..

resist...
