I cant remember how many MPG a 3.4 996 does??
So could someone enlighten me?
Lets say its a 27 mile commute each way, half duel carrigeway half town.
I am in mid "argument" with a collegue.
I know driving style has a lot to do with this, but for the sake of argument, lets assume the drive is conducted at normal traffic speed, so pottering at 60/70 and steady round town.
Thanks

I can afford a porsche but worry about the MPG!
Exactly the argument I was having.Edited by sbirty on Thursday 22 March 21:38
People have the wrong impressions of fast cars. He was muttering that it would be 12/13 mpg-and I couldnt remember what mine did when used daily.

Had mine for over 5 years now... pottering about (to and from golf club 4 miles away, into town (10 miles) I get around 26. On a long (and fast) runs, (e.g. to Norway and back, or to Italy and back) I get 29 to 31. hence for your journey, I'd guesstimate 27mpg - a gallon each way!So could someone enlighten me?
