Knuckle breakers, skin removers and some sophisticated blood letting tools. All best used to make a walk to the pub seem like a much better idea. I think I can also see the attachment used to transform a trivial repair into a problem that can only be solved by the scrapping of the vehicle it is being used on.

I take it you're speaking of the nut buster? A walk to the pub definitely sounds better than that.

Drill gauge
No, I think that one is to do with measuring thickness of things. I.e. it's not the "holes" its the "gaps"

No, to gap plugs you use a feeler gauge, which is a set of thin bits of metal of different thickness's.

I think item #13 is actually for gauging the thickness of something like metal sheets. You slide the gap in the gauge over the side of the sheet and test different gaps until you find one it will fit over smoothly, and one where it gets stuck. The plate thickness is read off the inscription next to the thinnest gap into which the sheet metal passes smoothly.

  1. 1 looks like a ball joint separator, maybe?

No 13 is a sheet metal thickness gauge, probably in standard wire gauge, but I can't make out the units on an iPhone screen.

I think 13 is a wire gauge S.W.G. Reckon I've seen 11 as the male former for a wheeling machine.

Still thinking about 1

I'd say that is a tappet adjuster.
