Looking in the 996 Turbo classified section came across this....
http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3654061.htm
Not quite a Turbo but with turbo price tag!

Obviously the interior is a matter of taste and opinion but the thing that got me is the price, £29k!!
The sellers site doesnt say anymore than the Pistonheads bit and they seem to sell a lot of Jap imports.

That's just crazy, but I've seen some 'creative' pricing from this
outfit in the past when perusing some old english classics.

Nice. That's what, twice its market price? (considering the gore-splatter interior)

This has been for sale for ages, started at an even more ridiculous price like £35k IIRC.

Always makes me chuckle, especially as he advertises it under the 996 Turbo section.

How bizarre. Must check out the rest of his stock and see what else he's finding impossible to sell.

I think the interior needs some more terracotta.

I reckon he should cut his losses and give it to a Porsche dealer to sell.....they would probably offer him £24k and put it on the forecourt, with the usual Porsche mark-up, for £31k?......of course in the sellers bizzare car valuation world!!

Some of his 'cherished numbers' are a bit optimisticaly priced as well.

That car has been for sale for years - more than four years in fact.

The price has stayed the same regardless.

I dunno about you lot but I'm tempted to buy a one year newer 996 C4S, better spec and see if he'll buy it off me for £30k, surely he can then advertise it for £35k judging by his logic? wink
