Nissan F*****G Micra Rally car
Discussion
I was on holiday last week in Gran Canaria. When in taxi going about the capital we saw some pretty serious rally cars. The taxi driver insisted that it was a round of the world rally championships taking place over a couple of days
Later that day when we were up visiting a mountain village lots of rally cars went through. We decided to follow them to the start point waving at all the spectators form our hire ford Confusion or whatever it was called.
Anyway, it turned out to be a national rally, but with various foreign cars entered. Whilst we were waling among the cars we spotted the Micra Rally car and the driver spoke fluent English, ( my Spanish is worse than my Italian, much worse!) and those unkind people with me all suggested i should sit in his car and pose for a photo! The driver kindly offered this to me, hence for the first time in 14 years ( i drove a friends wife’s one to diagnose a gearbox fault) I actually sat in my nemesis!!
So before any bad people post this i thought I better confess!
Car was 1.4L 120bhp full rally spec with 4 large spot lights on the bonnet!
Don't know how the driver faired but for a Micra driver, he was really nice and polite! Also very enthusiastic about cars and rallying!

Not too late to do the custard test... therefore we require :Later that day when we were up visiting a mountain village lots of rally cars went through. We decided to follow them to the start point waving at all the spectators form our hire ford Confusion or whatever it was called.

(1) a pic of you holding a pic of you in the car - fully visible that said vehicle is indeed a micra
(2) suitably placed custard in same pic - preferably held in one hand while smiling to pic of micra-gate incident
Do this and we know you want to go the whole mile and pass the custard test Paul

My therapist and probation officers all say that it will be good for my violent/reaction/10lb sledge hammer/shotgun/gun use aversion therapy!
Tony, the driver was a really nice guy and explained all about the rally to us. The Norwegians with me only wanted to know about Norgie competiotrs. Amazingly a norgie was leading their competition!
