Unfortunately not in the S but SWMBO and I went out over the Snake pass to test out the route for the Hoon on the Saturday of SCH 2012. OMG! (as my daughter would say). What a road! Should be a fantastic drive.

If you have any worries about your brake pads before the event definitely get them sorted. Bit smelly by the time we reached Glossop. biglaugh

Change of plan on the lunch stop. The Lantern Pike looks lovely but suggested parking in a field was difficult (potetnially dangerous) to access. So we'll be going to the Lamb Inn instead. Great spot with planty of parking and lovely food.

Thanks to Mark for the sign up page. It's going to be brilliant, if a do say so myself.

Snake Pass is a superb road especially when free of muggles (which will be the biggest problem on the day)and bikes (that come past on blind corners on their bid for pole position rolleyes ). I hope you guys enjoy it as much as I have in the past...

K frown

ETA - I might join you guys yet as the buyer of my car has confirmed that he is unfortunately unable to raise the funds so its up for sale again this morning...
