993 C4S Tyres - Potenza S-02A vs. SportContact 2

Does anyone have experience of Bridgestone Potenza S-02A or Continental SportContact 2 as a comparison?

Need to change all 4 tyres by end of month and currently have Potenza S-02 on the front and S-02A on the rear.

The Contis are somewhat cheaper but not sure about their wet wheather handling based on their tyretread. Also, is one quieter than the other?

Canct say which is quieter but the conti is fine in the wet

Thanks. Got another message to say that the asymmetric tyres are quieter than the symmetric ones.

www.tyretraders.com have SO-2s in stock, N2 rated, which work out just 100 dearer for a set of 4 (285/30x18 and 225/40x18) than N rated Contientals - well worth it IMO.

I've driven both but not on the same car. I preferred potenzas over the contis. Contis were noisier (though not being noise sensitive this didn't factor in my preference)
Michelin pilot sport 2 are better than both though if you're open to looking at additional options.

Bridgestone are a heavy tyre, & they do get loud toward the end of there life, dry grip is good though.

Thank you all for the feedback. I finally decided to go with the Conti SC2 and will let you know how it goes.
Will be taking the family out for dinner with the money saved between that and the Bridgestones
