MX5 owners in the Milton Keynes/ Northants area

Hi,

I'm looking for an exhaust system for my soon to be purchased MX5. I want something quite throaty and quite loud, but not completely unsociable, something like Racing Beats exhausts, but a bit louder.

If anyone in the MK/ Northants area has a nice sounding exhaust system, can I come and have a listen pretty please?

I do!! Trouble is it's not on an MX5 but you're welcome to being deafened anytime.
I took you out many moons ago in my old Chimaera and now run 128db worth of TVR T350 Hope you and your folks are well!

I'm guessing it's non standard is it? Even if it is, I'm definitely happy to come and be deafened! Where abouts do you live?

Mum and dad are great, they're in the process of selling our house at the moment and have things going on with my grandad, so are a bit stressed, but other than that, it's all good in the Thompson/ Walton residence! How are things for you?

The dual exit MX5 parts exhaust we had on ours was quite load... not as nice as the Tiv though

I was in MK last Saturday which is a shame as I'd have happily taken you for a spin. I'll let you know next time I'm over that way (From ST Neots BTW) and take you out, perhaps even team up with Mr Manson and his new P&J so you can experience the difference in models back to back.

Yeah ok, I'm sure I can make some time for that!!

Not too far, just out of the village. They're looking at Stony Stratford, Newport Pagnell outskirt areas. Not in the town, but not too far from life. The village is a bit quiet for them.

I've got a custom system made by Top Gear in Aylesbury that is a pretty good balance I think.

You are welcome to come and have a listen if you like, but I'm turbo'd so probably not much use to you.

Yes that would be good, thank you! You're in MK as well, so it's near.

I'm sure it would give me a rough idea of what it sounds like, plus I'm always up for just listening to cars. Even if it is no help, I'm sure it'll put a smile on my face!
