After months of searching for a 996 turbo, I am coming to the conclusion I am not going to get what I want spec wise. So, today I went to Bristol OPC and test drove their silver turbo.

Really nice dealership, car drove really well. Especially liked to gearbox and seats. However, no sports chrono and I'm pretty sure this is a must, Is this the case?

I have also seen a dark olive turbo. I thought it was black looking online. Is this colour a bit of a marmite one, as I haven't seen one before. Basically, would it be a pain to move on??

sports chrono can be retro fitted, dark olive awesome colour but will be harder to sell if you care.

u can have sc retro fitted now hence if u like the car ask the dealer to fit it as part of the sale. one benefit is u do no have the ugly looking clock on the dashboard.

I love dark olive met - wouldn't put me off at all.

you can't have the the clock on the dash retrofitted as part of the sportchrono but the buttons can be.

Bristol OPC has a lovely fully loaded Ice Blue 997 turbo, but it's a low mileage 2011 model so may not be within your budget.

Regards.
