Squeaking S.Heath Drop Link
Discussion
The roads around Bournemouth are frankly rubbish - with more dug-up/relaid tarmac than original, meaning a totally scarred and uneven road surface.
I have SH drop links all the way around, and love the sharp turn in... HOWEVER...
The front squeaks really badly - not chatters, but squeaks (sounds like a bird, or very quick bike-pump exhalation). I have had them adjusted about 4 times now, but still squeaks on the front left shock every time the car goes over an uneven surface - very annoying.
So I have come to the conclusion that I'm gonna have to change them - because a car that squeaks sounds ridiculous, and it marrs the driving experience for me.
So my question is, if the SH ones squeak, are the Leven ones with their rubber gaitor any better - or do I have to go back to OE rubbish..?
I saw in this thread that "TJS10" has had similar issues in relation to the Leven ones..:
"Mine squeak and chatter like a flock of birds"
...which is the same problem that I am encountering with the SH ones. Can anyone offer any further info or experiences? Is TJS10 on his own, or is this common with the Leven ones too...?
Don't want to buy the Leven drop links to find they are no different and squeak too... Should I go back to OE instead..?

My 2p FWIW..
I've had the SH drop links on my Chim for years - can't remember how long, but i was an "early adopter" so it must have been soon after they were first sold.
I've had no squeaks or any other problems since i fitted them, and the car is no stranger to the kerbs of Oulton Park circuit , so much so that im suprised they haven't broke , especially the n/s/f one
