They are the best independent you cud deal with and they are also very honest. You have no reason to doubt that car
It's the car that was at westover (sic?) in Dover all last year. I spoke to Sam at ps about it when they were offered it & we both came to the same conclusion-at that sort of price it makes sense.
There is some history to the car though-nothing that would put me off but worth mentioning all the same. Speak to Sam (mrcooke on here) & he'll give you all the details...

Thanks, I spoke to Sam yesterday and he told me about the history of the car. I'm no expert but it sounded like a fairy small impact with a kerb. Not enough to put me off seeing as the car was repaired at a well know specialist.

It seems to me people get hung up on GT3s with perfect history and really low milages

Agreed, mine had considerably more damage than what you describe above but was repaired properly with no expense spared. The repair was managed by JZM. This was before I owned it and it has done over 20k miles without any problems in the 3 years I owned it. Mine is now on 76k miles and the engine and gearbox are perfect and so is the bodywork. It seems to me people get hung up on GT3s with perfect history and really low milages
Mine is also used on track a lot as these cars are built to take it.
I don't know anything about this particular car but it looks great in red and a very good price in my opinion. If mine's anything to go by then it should give you years of trouble free motoring - so long as you get it maintained by someone that knows what they are doing

Put it this way James, I offered the previous vendors of the car around what sam's asking for it now & I'd of been happy paying it as well had it all checked out.It seems to me people get hung up on GT3s with perfect history and really low milages
From what I dug up about the car the story was the car hitting ice & collecting a curb. How much faith you put in these stories is up to you but if memory serves me correct (I did have copies of the repair invoices but when I tried to find the emails for Sam I couldn't see them) the bill was around six grand, not peanuts but not hard to mount up on a 911 either.
There were people who knew the car on 911uk in the gt3 forum as well so might be worth asking on there.

To put that into perspective, the repair bill on mine was over £30k back in 2006, and I've had absolutely no problems. As I say if it was repaired properly and subsequently maintained then it should give you trouble free motoring From what I dug up about the car the story was the car hitting ice & collecting a curb. Craig is correct its the westover car.
I have some details on this car.
Check the service history, I think it has a service missing.
It sold around 9 months ago.
It had done 48,500 Miles in April 2010 so has not done much since.
Had front bumper repainted and had a small dent on the bonnet and ns door, and a chipped drivers door edg.
Tread with caution, I have heard from someone who worked on the car that the damage was worse than described.
