Hello everyone...
I joined here recently when looking for a Porsche forum and after reading through lots of threads this one seems really friendly so I thought I'd better say hello...
As a long time Porsche fan I finally became a first time Porsche owner at the tail end of last year when I bought a Gen2 Cayman S...its better than I could have possibly imagined...
Here's a couple of pictures of my Cayman...

Roll on the good weather as I've some nice roads here in Scotland to go and explore...

Another welcome. I just love Guards Red on a Porsche.
Looks great.

As you can see the Porsche community tend to do the central runs - but you are welcome on either.
Willmac used to run as a police magnet for us - much appreciated - sorely missed.
Thanks for the warm welcome guys...
I've been doing more reading on the forum I didn't realise there is so much enthusiasm for Porsche cars out there its fantastic...I'am glad I bought one now.
Happy driving everyone...

I LOVE guards red! I really wanted that colour for my 997C4S but settled for Basalt black in the end.
Red is my favourite colour so it was my No1 choice when I went looking for a Cayman, I would have settled for black if no red's were available...its nice too. rog007 said:
Nicest wheels I've seen for a while, great choice!
Last summer I went for a test drive of a Cayman at the OPC in Edinburgh and one of their cars had the Carrera S II wheels on which I thought looked fantastic so when I saw the car I bought had them fitted it was a nice bonus. willmac said:
Very nice and shiny. Love Guards as well.
Thanks but I can't take the credit for the shine just now, apart from washing I've not laid a hand on the paint yet. The previous owner has done a great job keeping the paint in good condition but I plan to give the car a full detail very shortly i.e. clay, polish and wax.F3RNANDO said:

Thanks for the kind invite unfortunately I can't make this time my car is off the road just now as I have some planned work to do to it...I look forward to next time though.http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...
