Anyone used CISS or good compatible cartridge?

Hi, printer cartridges have run out again, have been looking at CISS for Cannon Pixma MP 970. Anyone used one or have any experience? Or is there a reasonable compatible cartridge? Cheers.

I have a morbid fear of compatible cartridges, I've used them twice and both times they've FUBAR'd the printhead. Steer well clear in my opinion.

I am using CISS on 2 epsons and have had no trouble, couple them with a waste ink tank (http://www.octoink.co.uk/home.php) and you are quids in.

If I need good quality prints the I use Photobox or the ike
