Apologies for the opinions thread again but ready to do the deal at last, will be doing some races, 24 hour events and trail centres, its £2399 on 0% finance they'll throw in £50 of accessories.

Thoughts and opinions appreciated........

I've got the 2010 X2 & have never been anything than chuffed with it. For the type of riding I do it's perfect. I've spent 10hrs perched on it doing the Kielder 100 last year & found it comfortable enough. They're a fast & very capable machine & I've never found it's limits other than really tricky descents in the Peaks (Cave Dale for instance) & that's more me than the bike I'd guess.

A mate recently swapped his 2010 X2 for a X1. The components are basically the same (XT) but the frame looks alot different. He reckons it rides slightly better in that the Maestro rear is better planted & he can put the power down easier....

Of the lads that I ride with 5 of us have Anthems & a couple of those are onto their second ones. Not a bad recommendation I suppose?

Brilliant thank you for your response, tomorrow is now purchase day.

Cannock Sunday afternoon for first run out, I'm excited already.
