7.0 litre of sheer madness at Topcats

Took my 1995 Chimaera down to Warren, Brian and Tom at Topcats for a nice new hood and clutch
They had just completed putting a 7.0 litre lump LS7 into a Cerbera and rebuilding gearbox clutch and diff to handle the power.
Warreen being Warren just had to show me what it could do and although it is not even mapped yet what happened next was like being in an F16 fighter as the sheer power torque and balance of this monster was truly out of this world.
And if that is not mad enough they have a Tamora on the ramp with an LS3 fitted and tuned to shove out 600 brake so who knows what that will fly like
They are currently leading the field in dropping the LS engines into TVR's and when they move this year to their new workshops on the estate it would be well worth your time popping in to see them and be impressed by what they do and how they do it
Me---well I am off today with my old S2 to let them play with it for a while and pick up my Chim and wonder how long it will be before i drop an LS7 lump into it.

Better late than never!
The blue Cerb with the LS7 is mine, and I am so looking forward to picking the car up
The last time I saw the car she was still being worked on. Top Cats have done a huge amount of work to the car, it has had a hard life and will be fixed up as time goes on.
The last time I spoke to Warren the car was pretty much finished, it had passed mot, without being fully mapped, and without cats and was in the process of being mapped.

I've not had much time to be able to go and see the car on account of my life currently being owned by some canadians...
Seems like the first decent use of the Cerb will be either a trip to Portugal to visit family or to the two alps, ideally both...

No, I was told that the Tam couldn't take an LS7 (but then again the understanding of the cars etc will have moved on in the 2 years when I was told that).My LS3 hopefully will break cover in the next few months.
