I was expecting Ferrari Yellow, Mint Green or Maritime Blue (my personal favourite). Looks like Slate Grey, a fine colour.

Silver is actualy very unusual on the 964 and looks great too.

You don't need balls you just need negotiating skills and deep(ish) pockets. wink

Why would you need to throw 10k at it to keep it forever?

Assuming the car has been well well looked after - why couldnt you just buy it, run it, and service it regularly, and then attend to any additional maintenance needed as and when required?

because i would like to make it perfect

but yes just running it would be totally fine and better way to do it for sure in terms of needless spending

but did u see the silver one at jzm recently ...it was total mint and went for well over 20k after all the work

agree

but if u look for a nice 964

how many do u see with white blue interiors that dont match the paint ...i would say 90% .....but some people may like that ...just my opinion ...i think its timeless and rare

I don't think Slate grey particularly suits a 964, hence why I had mine painted a different colour smile

Exactly! No safer place to store some cash these days than a 964 C2 Manual.

I emailed the guy last night as soon as it appeared. He replied today saying he's having a hectic day but will get in touch tonight. We'll see where this one takes me. I had sort of written the search off to be honest, but I'll get the details of this one and see.

With regard to the colour scheme, pretty boring really, imho. Nice looking but what I would class as a more conservative hue. smile

Not bad in any way, just not wow.

ETA - skimmed straight through and missed your comments Craig! Cheers. I'm on it. Will have to act fast if it sounds good. I finish work 8am tomorrow until next week so things could fall into place quite nicely.
