Hi

Looking for recommendations for a garage to do a full wheel alignment on my MR2 in central, preferably Stirling. Any thoughts?

Just changed my tyres as the fronts were wearing badly on the inner edge so it seems that camber is off, but taking this oppurtunity to lower the car at the same time so would ideally want that done at the same time. (Thought about doing it myself but a bit worried.)

Any input appreciated, cheers.

Progrip moved to a new unit in Larbert just behind Mathiesons bakery. By far the best in this area. Knows his stuff and his prices are good. His name is John.

Cheers guys, looks like CLCM or ProGrip will be getting used once I get my springs swapped over. Should I be waiting until the new lower springs are settled before doing the alignment?

Also, any suggestions for somewhere that will swap the springs? I know there is a guy on here that owns a garage on Stirling but can't remmeber his name.

You must be thinking of Craig Fowler in Springkerse? I've used him for air con, but not stuff like that. Maybe someone else will know better.

Yes! That's the one. I'll give him a PM.

Been thinking about swapping them myself as it looks fairly straight forward but if I mess it up then i'm stuck.

Are you local Angelus?

Not that local, I'm in Lanark. Craig does mobile air con, so he came to me to work on the Porsche.

Although I did spend 2 years at Stirling Uni.

Nah it was Craig Fowler as mentioned by Angelus, he owns Klimakool and FWR garage.

StuP is the Porsche specialist isn't he?

Hypertech in Bonnybridge gets the thumbs up from me. Uses the same machine as Pro-Grip which, from memory is around the corner from Hypertechs place (unless they've moved)

I used both mentioned here and would use Pro-grip(john) first, he'll do your settings and /or advise on custom settings.

I've been using Autohaus in loanhead, they have a brand new 4 wheel lazer alignment ramp/set up, took the work F430 there, very happy with the guys there! I also use them for all the work car tyres too..

Kilmakool (can't remember the spelling). Also yea, wait a couple of weeks for the springs to settle.
