Which bike to sell?

The mrs isn't happy about me keeping 3 bikes in the flat and I need to sell one.

I currently have the following:

1) 2010 Specialised Langster

2) 2009 Cannondale Badboy

3) Full Suspension Mountain bike that I built.


Now, part of me is thinking that I should sell the Canondale, but the Langster is single speed whilst the cannondale has gears.

Decisions!

I am based in london, so mountainbike stuff is limited to once every few months.....

I went through a similar process last year. I had to rationalise my 'old' fleet which involved selling a hybrid, tourer and alloy hardtail, once they went I replaced them with a home built steel hardtail, a Giant Trance, a Felt F75 and this weekend I should be picking up a CAADX!

The 'old' bikes were an eyesore, with the current fleet value similar to the value of the car I drive she is not so keen on me selling any and losing money in the process..........

Ah good rationale - I will get peanuts for my bikes when they have a combined worth of a lot more!

Sell the missus instead. You might not get much for her, but you'll be amazed at how much more money you'll suddenly find you have, plus having the place all to yourself you've all of a sudden got a spare room in which to store all the new bikes you can now afford.

But if you adopt Rule 5, S-1 is not valid, you simply MTFU, say good bye, buy n+1 and go for a ride.
