Dinner in LA

I will be taking a buch of colleagues (8 of us) out for dinner in LA at the end of March. Previously I have used the Mondrian's Sky Bar - which is very cool and really fits the bill for making the evening feel special.

However, the Sky Bar will be closed for rennovation during this trip, so I am seeking advice from anyone in the know - can you recommend a good altaernative that ticks the same uber cool boxes?

Mastro's Beverley Hills. It's not cheap but it's grat fun & excellent food. Be sure to order lobster potato -
