What were all the Scoobies doing up Winlatter on Sunday?

Travelling over Winlatter Pass towards Windermere yesterday afternoon, we passed a big convoy of Imprezzas heading in the opposite direction.
There must have been 40+ cars in total, split into 3 travelling groups.
The only event we'd seen en route was the marmalade festival at Dalemain Mansion, so perhaps their trip came to a sticky ending.
