Any ideas who is doing the best pound/dollar exchange rate at the moment. (Only for a holiday). Banks and travel agents seem to be much the same.

Always very good rates, but depending on age, you might have to wait for a while.

Try Travelex. I have used them a couple of times recently. They promise the best rate and free delivery.

I just use Travelex and collect at the airport, but for god sake pre-order! Their rates are normally amongst the best, but you get done if you just rock up at the airport and buy there and then.

The online deals are the best unless you are in a big city with independent bureau de change kiosks. In the touristy areas of London the rates are quite favourable as they compete with each other.
