Had a bit of bovver getting them off, looked like just four little pop rivets but no, half a tube of Sikaflex under each one!

Anyone got these or know another supplier?

Would Fernhurst let you have a pair? - it would be a nice original touch

leven might do them again if there is enough demand but when i spoke to them a few weeks ago they had only one inquiry all year . Give them a ring and see if you can persuade them to get some made .

I have those EBAY plates on my S, general quality is OK for the money.
Only "problem" is the TVR logo doesn't look right.

Thanks for your comments Han (and for the graphics stuff).

Now I look at them again the letters look a bit "thin" ? Did you have the 730mm long ones? the original Fernhurst ones I've taken off are only about 600mm.

Mike,

Like Han, I have fitted a pair of Finishing Touch sill plates on my S3C. They are made from very good quality stainless and, for the S, etched with the TVR logo. Finishing Touch were good to deal with and, once ordered, the plates arrived within 48 hours. Han and I must have the same tape measure, mine are 735mm long by 85mm wide. They come with very strong double-sided tape which has adered very well. I have to admit that I initially approached Leven for a pair of their own plates but, as has already been said, they no longer have stock and frankly seemed rather disinterested in producing any more for the S (perhaps I just caught them on a bad day!).

The business was taken over about 18 months ago the previous owners would have been unlikely to speculate in the final few months. If your enquiry was more recent, it's not likely they were disinterested, it's more that as it's a small business and needs to order a batch with knowing they can sell enough not to be lumbered. They measured one of my cars for a small batch last year in case there was a demand for that (wedge)smile

Quite by chance, I went to PPC / Leven today and mentioned this thread. They are very happy to have another batch made up but need enough confirmed orders to warrant a run. They think this is about 10.

I've said I'd have a pair so that leaves 9. If people would like them, please contact them directly, you just need to leave a name and number. When there are enough confirmed they will embark on the manufacture. I have no idea what the price is etc.

So, if interested, contact them directly:

They have none of their own ones left but have found me a pair of Leven ones with "S" logo (not cheap but from what I've heard of Leven stuff should be top quality).

One more pair left if anyone interested, packaging a little shop soiled but Nick, who'm I dealt with, assures me they would be thoroughly checked before sending out.

Many thanks for pointing me in the direction of Jill & Paul at Leven. Lovely people to deal with. thumbup

I'm going to have may badges done with them and get some sill plates once we know the bits and bobs.
Mine have the TVR logo on them and the lip see below, going to go with exactly the same as love the size and design.bounce
