I cant wait, what with the weather looking good and all those lovely parties to go to it looks like the roads might be quiet for a good blast.

God bless our lovely queen, long may she reign over us

God bless the queen, she is up here today and we now have some decent roads (Rapidly repaired recently), well the route she is supposed to take along with some nicely painted railings, flowers hey sod the 8,000,000 debt the local councils in !!!. Let us hope she does not have to take a detour, cannot have one's roller bottoming out in the numerous pot holes.

Surely she'll be in her nice new £3m Bentley that the German's have kindly built for her.

The figure from Saturdays Telegraph Motoring Supplement where they did a full review of the thing (or rather the test car) actually said it was worth £5m, however they did say that 2 had been built, one brand spankers for queenie, and an identical one that they tested, hammered, shot at, gave to journalists, and crashed. I guess that the whole program actually cost £10m as it was effectively a development of a brand new car rather than a coachwork modification of an existing one as has been the case with previous limo's. It also went into the politics of it being a bentley as opposed to Rolls and how it was planned before the whole VW/BMW carve up but I got bored by that bit.
