Canon 16-35mm F2.8L Mk2

Hi,

Looking to pick one of these up and would like to get one at a good price. I have seen them for £900 odd online. Is it possible to source a new one for cheaper?

Aslo, I'm off to Las Vegas at the end of next month. Would it be possible to get a good deal out there, with the 8% Sales Tax included? (can I claim that back when leaving the country?)

There is a chap on Talk Photography called Kerso (also trades on eBay, but is slightly cheaper direct).

He sources from the States, but provides a UK receipt that Canon will honor for warranty work etc. I've bought a few bits from him (5Dmkii being the largest) and the service has been excellent.

However, if you are going yourself - then it's certainly worth looking at picking it up whilst you are there!

Don't know of any shops in Vegas.

That said, don't just look for shops in Vegas. Some stores in the USA will drop ship it to your hotel. Providing you consider the delivery times when ordering you should be fine.
