looking for a camera bag for 2 nikons

hi

i currently use an ordinary rucksack to carry my 2 dslr'a around

I am off on holiday soon so want to buy a camera bag
i want to be able to keep both cameras complete
one has a 24-70 lens attached
one has a 70-300 lens attached
also want to carry my 15.4" laptop

anyone recommend me one, seen a couple of lowepos

also needs to be taken on as hand luggage, so some outside pockets for passport etc would be good

What style do you favour?

I have a Fastpack 300 which would probably swallow all your gear - personally I'm thinking of parting with it because I just load it up with so much kit it's a back pain ready to happen!

Billingham 445 is my other "larger" option and is also good for popping in a lapdog. But you won't want to carry that over your shoulder exclusively - even with Billingham's fancy additional straps

Have a look at the Lowepro comp trekker series. I used to have one, carried a lap top nicely and easily 2 cameras with lenses mounted. Very easy to change the insides around though to suit your needs.

ThinkTank Retrospectives are divine.. You may need a large one though a Retro 20 or 30.

Really, really like these, even if they're not everyone's cup of tea. Forgot to add, that for bits and bobs - passports, tickets, etc. - the Billingham has a lovely big zip pocket which is ideal for just this at the back, usually the part that would hang against your body. The things you won't appreciate until you handle them include the lovely quality and also are things like the top zips open and then you can popper-stud the two parts back on themselves and really get easy access when you need to.

Are Lowepros even as expensive as that???

I was thinking about half that would get a decent one.... Your Billis and Thinks would be well affordable on that budget, I should think. Think do a nice range which combines wheelie with backpack IIRC.
