Cobanac/Slavonian Stew

I had a nice big bowl of Cobanac, also known as Slavonian stew. Really enjoyed it, very meaty and robust, proper winter man food. I've had a look through the web for recipes but haven't been able to replicate the one I had in Croatia. Anyone out there got a recipe I can try?

I knew before I googled for recipes this would contain peppers and/or paprika.

Go to any market in eastern europe and there will be dozens of different types - but which one to use?

I'd experiment, and also try growing your own peppers if you can.
