I am looking to replace metal pipes and swirl pot with st st. However, I remember something about the bottom pipe on an S3C being differnt form standard due to avoiding the cats.

As the automated search facility is down today, I though I would use the organic search facility (your brains).

What is the best source for st st pipes and is there a problem that I need to be aware of?

Got mine from ACT so might be worth giving Tim a call.

Steve's SP look really good, sadly he has never returned my emails of late, tried calling but he seems to be away on business a lot.

Andy,
Just to confirm, the steel pipe which runs from the lower radiator hose to the water pump inlet hose is different on the S3C. Whereas the S2 and S3 have a short pipe with a slight offset, the S3C has a longer J shaped pipe which is designed to by-pass the cats (if present). If, like mine, your car has been decatted I would suggest you order a standard S3 stainless steel pipe from ACT. If you do, you'll also need to replace the existing rear facing 90 degree water pump hose with a 45 degree hose to connect to the new pipe. Talk to Tim at ACT, he's really helpful and aware of all the options to resolve.
