Can anyone tell me how tuners deal with 997 turbos that have Sports Chrono? (thats most of them of course).

Do they remap the car in sport mode so the new map is used with the sport button only (which strikes me as ideal) or on the main map which would presumably render the sport button redundant for power purposes?

The sport button doesnt just up the torque mid range but also quickens throttle response by 'reducing' pedal travel, changing gear maps on tips etc.

How do they work around these things?

It does the same thing when remapped and BTW check FVD.de if you would like a proper remap.

FVD says you can have it in override mode so you can have sport mode all the time or you can have it so sport mode is still usable.
