Question for contractors

I am putting together an information site for professional contractors and wondered if any of you could suggest useful sources for advice and information, such as the PCG etc. I think I've covered most of the obvious points but would be grateful if anyone could recommend someone (or thing) that has really helped them in their contracting life.
