Do I need an ESTA for USA?
Discussion
They last 2 years... buggar!!
I went in Sept 2010 last and I'm going back again next week and I paid for the bloody ESTA, probably should have checked but at least I now know that I am allowed to go.
I paid online, once they had charged for a foreign transaction and given me the worst exchange rate possible it worked out at about £11

Must be done 72 hours before your flight leaves I believe.
That's what they say, but I wonder if it's true. There must be people who turn up at airport not realising and I haven't heard stories of people being turned away.Deva said:

You will be turned away, however the ESTA online is usually instantaneous unless you are on a watchlist or from a dodgy country Gassing Station | Holidays & Travel | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
