PCM 1 replacement

My 2002 MY 996 has PCM1 with satnav and phone, plus the audio upgrade - speakers in doors but not Bose. Mostly this is pretty good - good audio for instance - but I have previously had to have it repaired for dicky controls and now the phone intermittently stops working. This could turn expensive if I drive into a tree next time I am swearing at the dashboard instead of concentrating on driving.....

I have seen threads here previously where people had found a modern replacement system with all the functions in one unit - audio, satnav and bluetooth phone. I had ignored this before, wanting to keep the car original, but am now thinking it's time to sort this out. Any views on the best kit to fit the double-din fascia?
