They - cars with -20mm sports pasm suspension - have started to be delivered to customers (they all appear to be in the U.S). They will show up on Google if anyone needs to see one. There is a Lime Green one, a triple black one and this platinum silver one, i think this is the 991's best angle.

Is there a particular photography technique used on that shot?

I can't seem to get shots like that with my Casio point and squirt?

Don't know but if you pop over to rennlist you can ask the poster wink

Looking at the quality of his other pics (much better background) I would be surprised if he is using anything other than an SLR camera. The car lot pics have a 993 side-by-side for comparison.

Probably taken on a reasonable camera of course but the key to a shot like this is primarily the focal length used.

The tip is to stand back at bit and zoom in giving you a natural perspective.

Standing too close and using the wide setting to get everything in leads to the bulging/fisheye perspective that sucks.

The equivalent of 50mm is a good benchmark but this looks just a little bit wider than that to my eyes but the end result is close to perfect as I could imagine and it certainly shows off the 991 curves!

Try standing about 6 feet behind a (physical) 991 looking down at the rear three-quarters view - they aint so pretty then!

Perspective is a function of viewing distance, not focal length, funny enough. Just stand far enough away.

This one at OPC Cambridge had the Sports PASM. The option also gives you a different front spoiler and the rear spoiler extends further than normal too cool
