tracing villains from licence plates

An old dear I know with harmless delusions wants me to check out some licence plates from cars parked outside her gaff. Wasnt there discussion about a site where you could get owner details from licence plates? Can anyone out there please refresh my memory Thanks

don't think so. You may be recalling the discussions about the Tescos car insurance site which would tell you the type of car a plate is on (for run of the mill cars anyway). The details are on the T11SKN thread in General TVR..... Mike.
