There was an unusually high Porsche attendance at this meet today so thought worth a few pics.

Every 2nd Sunday of the month at 9am in Queens Square. Usually a good turnout and people start to head off from around 11 to 12am.

Remiss of me not have noticed these meets before as it's local to me.

Having said that, looking at the gorgeous metal in those pics I'd feel a bit - err - deflated, with my 11 year old boggo model Boxster!!

I'll keep an eye out for the next meet though.

Cheers

There's always a good mix of cars and all are welcome. The Boxster would be a good addition.

Yes, I think the car looks like a standard 996 Carrera. Also, to me, something looks a little odd about the exhaust as well - more aftermarket stick-ons?
Why do people do such things to their cars? - just be proud of what you have!
Anyway, at least such badge shenanigans aren't too common with 911s, unlike with all the ever-so-convincing BMW 'M'-cars (ahem) with their stick-on, sorry I mean 'genuine' carbon-fibre roofs.

I think those lights work really well, and make the car look much younger than it is.

That looks like a good little meet.

Nothing much like that really happens up North.

Looks like a great collection of cars. I shall try and come along next time - I only live up the road from there (well, up the M32 anyway smile)

Unless you live in Sheffield or Manchester where most of the Supercardriver meets start or finish.

Run at least monthly in the summer and had 1 meet in November and January this winter already. There is a full list of events, tours and factory visits all ready lined up for 2012.

Cars range from Boxsters & Elises through to Zondas's and a Veyron. Great days out.
