replacement Canon software

Hello PH photographers,

I have a Canon Ixus 75 that I appear to have thrown away the disc for by mistake. I did a disc recovery on my laptop and which deleted everything, so I need to replace the disc/software that I have chucked away.

According to Canon they don't stock it any more and they gave me a link to a web site that doesn't stock it any more either .

Could any of you recommend somewhere to down load it from which won't fill my hard drive full of viruses and empty my credit card, if such a place exists?

What do you need? In theory your PC will see the camera and download / read it like a usb stick. If it is the editing software, I wouldn't bother and either download Gimp or buy elements. I also don't rate Canons organizing software. There are other free programs out there.
