Porsche just can't do interiors
If they just broke it up with some black on the carpets, dash & stealing wheel it'd be ok.
Prolapseparty comes to mind
(don't google it, it's impossible to un-see things)
Agreed 100%, what is it with having hideous red, grey steering wheels! Should have gone to specsavers rings true

On the subject of adverts, check out this one. Not pork, but the custodian of '8 NAJ' seems oblivious to its little ... erm... engine problem

More on topic, I do think the use of aluminium stips on the new 991/981 interiors will make it a little easier on the eyes when going for a colour other than black.

The reason for this is because they key is inserted but the engine is not running - hence the ECU light illuminates. You will see many adds like this (they shouldn't be because they would put some would-be buyers off - like drpep if you were in the market for one of these I am sure you wouldn't have even gone to see it due to the light!)
As an aside, how these have dropped in value! When buying my turbo I was also considering one of these - they were similar money back then...
Ah! Glad it was me being dumb. These look like incredible value at the moment. Aside from their apparent thirst, £22/23k buys you a lot of very new, well made, naturally aspirated, V8 goodness. Probably wants a brake upgrade but what better way to take in Europe (plus put some cash in the bank)! As an aside, how these have dropped in value! When buying my turbo I was also considering one of these - they were similar money back then...

Having said that, just looked at the advert again - and maybe you are right drpep? Not sure how the bmw system works, if all lights illuminate on inserting the key and then when you turn it (prior to start) the engine light stays on? I take back what I said (possibly...)
