My Cayman S needs four new boots. Its currently got some Conti's on rear and some Bridgestones on the front (not my doing!). What is the general opinion on the best tyres for this vehicle please?

I have 19" alloys. I do lots of motorways miles but I'm after a decent performer for when I'm pushing on, I'm not interested in quiet tyres for long journeys smile

Thanks

Also just replaced the rears (19") on mine for Conti's as I have Conti's all round.

When it comes to replacing all 4 next time I think I might go Michelin which apparently last longer with motorway miles and are a little more stable in the rain on the motorway

Michelin Pilot Sports are my preferred choice and also the choice of quite a few on here. If you are not tied into an OPC warranty and not worryied about N rating, then you could also consider Michelin Pilot Super Sports.

Pilot Sports, more outright feel and grip than any direct competitor (especially in the dry) and way more comfortable than those damned Bridgestones .... IMHO! smile

Super sports , screw N spec crap.

All the top Porsche will be on Susper sports soon enough from the factory any way.
