Hey all, Im looking for a Garage, preferably near Glasgow, that would be able to change the Pulley on my 2006 Cooper S' supercharger.

Anyone had this done, Willing to travel.

Cheers

Out of curiosity, why do you need the pulley changed? Do these wear or go wrong??

hey thanks, ill give them a call

No ive bought a 17% reduced pulley kit, and its a bit of a big job to do your self. Involves jacking the engine up.

You'll be wanting to speak to Kieth or Davie. They are good guys.

Does the pulley make much of a difference? Do you need a shorter belt??

Ive heard they give around a 20bhp increase peak. But the real gains are lower down, the reduced size means the S/C spins to a higher rpm relative to engine rpm. So more boost low down.

Yea you need a smaller belt. You can get a kit including the pulley and belt for £70 on ebay. Or about £100 including some colder spark plugs.

Definitely plenty Gains for low cost.

They work on my mini all the time and they have done a good few of these upgrades in the past. I will be getting them to do mine when the time comes
